Octane Press, located in Austin, Texas, is an award-winning niche press which creates illustrated and narrative trade books about the history, science, and societal impact of machines, racing, and travel. The books are sold worldwide through trade book distribution networks as well as to a robust network of independent retailers and individual consumers.
Company History
Octane Press was founded in 2010 by long-time book editor and author Lee Klancher. Starting with just a handful of titles, the company grew quickly and now has more than 100 titles in print. Octane Press books and authors have received 19 independent book awards.
