Astra Publishing House is dedicated to publishing books for children and adults that celebrate excellent storytelling, have a strong point of view, and introduce readers to new perspectives about their everyday lives as well as the lives of others.
Astra Books for Young Readers is committed to creating award-winning, high-quality fiction and nonfiction books for children of all ages. ABFYR is distinguished by its wide range of titles that encourage play and creativity, increase social emotional awareness, and encourage curiosity and a deeper understanding of our past through innovative approaches to text and art. Our imprints include Astra Young Readers, Calkins Creek, Hippo Park, Kane Press, TOON Books, and Wordsong.
