Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring a Marketing Coordinator to support the Shared Services team in the NYC office.
The ideal candidate for this role will have book publishing or bookseller experience, possess strong organizational and time-management skills, help with content creation, social media posting, conduct research, data analysis, and track campaign results. This individual will work with the Sr. Manager, Marketing Services on marketing projects for the Shared Services teams, and collaborate across various internal departments, with a focus on the international sales channel, in the execution of projects, ensuring accurate, timely and cost-efficient implementation.
The Shared Services Marketing Coordinator will have a unique opportunity to learn about book distribution by working with some of today’s leading independent publishers, including Grove Atlantic, Harvard Business Review Press, Haymarket, Gestalten, and Annick Press. Key Responsibilities:
- Provides support and assistance to the Sr. Manager, Marketing Services with the tactical execution of sales marketing plans, strategies, programs across the shared services sales team, particularly the international sales channel.
- Assists the Sr. Manager, Marketing Services with brainstorming on marketing campaigns and promotions, identifies and proposes new and better ways of connecting with audiences, and meeting tactical goals.
- Tracks marketing initiatives and effectiveness for the international sales channel/shared services channel.
- Reports on completed, current and upcoming tactical project implementation (progress, successes/failures, optimization efforts as assigned by Sr. Manager, Marketing Services).
- Maintains ongoing day to day, weekly and monthly marketing operations including newsletters, co-op, social media, and website updates for the international sales team.
- Conducts various research efforts to help educate decisions in promotions and marketing activities.
- Observes the goals and objectives outlined in the overall annual integrated marketing communications plan.
- Works with management to coordinate the production of marketing materials, track projects, and complete tasks from start to finish, working within designated deadlines.
Hiring Salary Range: <$32.18/hr – $40.29/hr>. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position and will be determined by factors including but not limited to: applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geographic location as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of publishing or book industry experience.
- Prior copywriting experience.
- Fluency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
- Prior design experience in applications such as Canva.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task multiple ongoing projects.
- Highly motivated and proactive self-starter.
- Experience with social media strategy, content ideation and creation.
- Collaborative work style and creative problem-solving mindset.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent writing and communication skills.
